WHY BLS? Rookie. I was a volunteer last year when I met a new swim bestie I have had the honor of training with in the cold and getting warm(er) open sea. Hi Ashley!

FUN FACT: I can’t remember when I learned to swim. I grew up on the Jersey shore and they must have thrown me in at some point. I spent my younger years on a swim team trying to keep up with my older sister (who was very fast), because everything she did I had to do, too. I learned very early that I wasn’t going to win, so I should just have fun and enjoy the journey. And, that’s what I’m here to do!
