WHY BLS? As a Commonwealth native, I have always looked at the BLS as a wonderful, historic and fun swim.

MY CREW: Wife Lydia and Pilot Dave Everett

FUN FACT: I played basketball professionally in Europe (before Europeans were in the NBA – I’m old), for almost ten years and my last two seasons due to back issues, I spent more time in the physical therapy office and swimming pool than on the basketball court. I started swimming to stay in shape but I loved the feeling and freedom of open water swimming. Little by little I have increased my distances and variety of swims.
