Egg Rock Scramble

Reviving History

In 2024, the MOWSA team revived the Egg Rock Scramble, a 3.7-mile swim that launches from Short Beach in Nahant and follows a straight line course out and around Egg Rock and back. The Scramble has a lengthy history, and in 2025, we hope to stage several small group Scrambles so everyone can see this beautiful place and test their skills navigating a wild, magical land known almost exclusively to birds, fish and local boaters.
