1st Official Edition, September 2024
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, 7 swimmers undertook MOWSA’s first official edition of the Egg Rock Scramble. Mina Elnaccash, acted as race director with Rena Demeo and Jess Gerber assisting. The event was supported by pilot Chris Burke.

Test Event: June 2024
In June 2024, 3 swimmers swam out and around Egg Rock to test the waters and ensure the tides and currents were appropriately timed. Mina Elnaccash acted as race director and the event was supported by pilot John Forgione aboard the Ellie Mae Knot. No official times were recorded, but the swim was a huge success (despite windy conditions) proving this event could be safely staged as a small group swim going forward.
